Eddy and Gosia finally moved to Poland in 2012 after a couple of years hopping backwards and forwards between here and the UK (to earn more money)
The dream is to build a straw bale house and become as self sufficient as possible, leading a sustainable lifestyle without putting pressure on an already over stretched planet. We hope to rent out rooms in the future so that people can explore the area, culture and experience a taste of the good life; Agro Turystyka as they would say in Poland. Hopefully more on livestock and growing our own crops next year when the spring arrives and I’m sure there will be more on the DIY projects that I try to complete as well as finishing the house.
Work started in 2009 and the house should be completed by the end of 2013 βBefore the Blogβ covers the majority of work to date, but this blog tracks what goes on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. We are always very happy to hear your comments, good or bad π
Very glad beetleypete and your guest post on his blog led me here.
Thank you and vice versa. I look forward to reading more about your adventures.

Good blog, Eddy. I’m happy to have stumbled upon it – I love all things agricultural…
Thank you, it’s always good to be stumbled upon rather than over π
Hi! Greetings from nearby RzeszΓ³w:) We found once your beautiful strawbal house (under construction then) about 2 years ago by chance during our weekend walks in favourite vicinity. I’m happy I’ve found your blog. All the best!
Hello! Thank you for stopping by and commenting, and if you are ever in the area again, on a walk or bike ride, then feel free to knock on the door and I’ll put the kettle on π
You’ve got a riveting blog.

Thanks again, hope to read more soon ο
So basically it’s a chain letter, where someone benefits by establishing ‘backlinks?’ I don’t quite understand it, but I’m not too tech savvy. I do enjoy all the extra hits I got today.
I feel I should apologize…can I quote your comment? I should have known if anyone compliments me on my writing, something is up.
Hi SB, no need to apologise, I wouldn’t have known myself, but I had time on my hands and thought I would read a bit more about it. It’s great getting the extra hits and its still flattering to receive the nomination; I just decided to opt out…mind you I could do with extra traffic π I’ll just use the old fashioned method and keep surfing the blogs and comment and follow the ones I like; like yours π And yes , please feel free to quote me.
how exciting! all the best on your adventure!
Thanks Jennifer, I hope to read more about your own adventure π
